Although they're aliens, Giygas is highly concerned with saving on their electric bill, hence all of the lack of light in the base. This sudden use of lighting for the upcoming battle will surely have an impact on future electric bills.
You may have noticed that all of the sudden a 15 page comic has suddenly popped up and replaced the Chosen Four, but no worries, the next two pages for that comic will be up very soon. This is actually a secret side project I had going for awhile, and I'm finally getting around to putting it up here. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up for more, though, since this was a one-shot that I had some extra time for, and unfortunately all of my available free time now is limited to working on the Chosen Four.
Still, it was a blast to work on, and I really had an incredibly fun time writing lines for Duster, Kumatora, and Wess. It's really hard to say which of the three I like the most, but I knew when I started this idea that it absolutely had to be a Duster-centric story. This is probably one of the best parts of the game to me, as so much goes on in it, and I tried to fit in as much of that as I could, while at the same time getting in an extra special scene at the end. I don't exactly have the same attachment to Mother 3 as I do with Earthbound, but it sure as hell has its moments.
